I came out of the womb wanting to do things.

I wrote my first book in second grade and left my small island home the day after I graduated high school. In those ten years between writing that book about butterflies and booking that one-way flight, I wrote plays and poetry, won art contests and pageants, and led both sports teams and volunteer groups. My purposeful ambition and rejection of the idea that impossible applied to me led me to New York, where I established my career as a multi-disciplinary copywriter, creative strategist and mentor.

My professional experience covers everything from toilet paper to tablets, from banking to botox. I’ve walked the halls of global ad agencies and of family-owned retailers and one thing has been consistent - I excel at translating complex concepts into compelling content and strategies that resonate with diverse audiences and drive measurable success.

Career highlights include exploring new spaces, such as launching Citi Bike in New York, Verizon’s first Instagram campaign, and St. Jude’s first VR experience, as well as spearheading organizational (and revenue) shifts such as building the health creative team at Meta and establishing Creative Shop’s inclusive creative practice.
